Please keep in mind the Lord always answers our prayers, but not always in the way we want them. Prayer is cooperating with God to bring about His plan, not trying to bend Him to our will.
Phil 4:6
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
You may post your request anonymously or by name. Just click on the word "Requests" underneath my name.
May God bless you and yours.
In Christ,
Joey Acker

Please pray for my nephew, Tucker, who is one month and two days old. He was born was with a very rare heart defect called Hyperplastic Left Heart Syndrome. Tucker's defect was not discovered until just about 24 hours after he was born, when the lactation consultant figured out the reason that he was not nursing was because he was having to work so hard to breathe. Our family is forever thankful to this woman because had she not noticed this, we certainly would have lost Tucker. He and his mother Dena had already been cleared to go home from the hospital that day. The doctors said that had they gone home he would not made it back to the hospital to get the help he needed.
ReplyDeleteIt has been a long road for Tucker and his parents, Trent and Dena this month. He has already had one open-heart surgery to be followed by two more by age 4. We are so thankful that he finally got to come home yesterday!!! Please pray for Tucker to continue to get stronger and that no brain damage or other unknown damage occurred when the oxygen levels in his blood were very low for several hours. Please also pray for his parents as they learn how to care for him around the clock (feeding tube, meds, other considerations). Please lift them up also as we would any first time parents learning to deal with very little sleep and caring for a totally dependent little one.
God is so good!
